Aidan Hoyle's poetry
Whoever Laughs Last
You may think I will go with the wind,
But I will call your bluff,
For you it will be such a simple thing,
But believe me it won't be enough.
He who laughs last, laughs longest,
He doing that is the strongest.
Giving me the elbow is your kind of story,
That is your finale
When it suits you, you'll feign glory
Like a kitten at your feet I'll lay.
SHe who laughs last, laughs longest,
SHe doing that is the strongest.
I'm gonna show one day
What's meant by "Rain stopped Play"
Stay if you dare my dear
And let us laugh together
We just met in the centre of town
Not crying was tough
But now we're together we've certainely learnt
That crying is just not enough
THose who laugh last, laugh longest,
THey doing that are the stronger.
I'm gonna show one day
What's meant by "Rain stopped Play"
Stay if you dare my dear
And let us laugh together
THose who laugh last, laugh longest,
THey doing that are the stronger.
