Raivo Tafenau
| Raivo Tafenau - one of the
best sax players in Estonia has built up his reputation in Estonia,
Finland and also Russia. He is a very accomplished saxophonist who
has his own popular quintet recently featuring the wonderful vocals
of Sergio Bastos from Brazil and Neda from Lithuania. |
The album with the Quintet featuring
Sergio Bastos the Brazillian singer is called "Ice on Ipanema".
It contains a very dancy upbeat first track and some emotionally charged
songs which fuse the warmth of Brazil vocal emotion with the coolest
of saxophones from Estonia.
BurningCandle favourite is the 'hair on the back of the neck' Nuvens
Gravidas.
Performances so far have been sell-outs, receiving standing ovations
in concert halls and clubs alike! The Raivo Tafenau Quintet features:
